Competing for attention against the spontaneously called Nintendo Indie World Showcase and its shadow drops, Ritual of Raven by Spellgarden Games and Team17 has released yesterday.

It’s not easy competing against Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase and its surprise releases when your game drops on the same day. Yesterday and during said showcase, incidentally almost at the same time as shadow-dropped Cologne game Tiny Bookshop, Publisher Team17 and Stuttgart developer Team Spellgarden Games, makers of Sticky Business, have released their newest witchy farming sim game Ritual of Raven. The game is out on Switch and PC via Steam.

Ritual of Raven has been officially announced a year ago almost to the day and had been present on game events like the European Game Night at devcom since 2023. While the game had been showcased on in the Indie Arena Booth of gamescom 2024, so far it has not yet been confirmed for a gamescom presence, even though Team17 has already announced it’s booth lineup.
