Chimera Entertainment is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Songs of Silence's early access release. Although the game has sold over 100,000 copies, breaking sales records was never the goal.

One year after entering Early Access, Munich-based Chimera Entertainment's Songs of Silence has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide. The game was fully released in November 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

"We didn't set out to break records - we set out to make something special", says Hendrik Lesser, President at Chimera Entertainment and Executive Producer of the project. "The players who joined our journey are the real achievement. This kind of growth proves that word of mouth still matters, and that a good game can still rise on its own terms."

To celebrate the anniversary, Chimera Entertainment is offering a free digital giveaway. Songs of Silence is a fantasy strategy game that blends exploration, kingdom management, and tactical combat. Its distinctive, Art Nouveau–inspired visuals give the game a unique identity. Development started in 2021 by a close-knit team in Munich driven by passion. In collaboration with the community, the game was refined during the Early Access period and was later released on consoles. Since then, most of the original team has moved on to other projects, both within and outside of Chimera.
