For some time now, gaming on TV has no longer required a console, but attempts by smart TV manufacturers to present themselves as alternative gaming platforms have been rather cautious. At CES 2026, however, LG Electronics is now taking the next step and introducing a new certification program for third-party accessory manufacturers.

The first product for the “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” program is already available: Together with Razer, LG is presenting the Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth from LG Smart TVs in Las Vegas. The manufacturers promise a response time of less than 3 ms.

“We are proud to introduce the Wolverine V3 Bluetooth as the first certified controller for the LG Gaming Portal,” says Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “The new controller delivers the response speed and precision gamers need to achieve the best possible performance in fast-paced games on the LG Gaming Portal.”
