As part of its "Hidden Gems Strategy", HandyGames is expanding its publishing line-up with 12 retro games from Orangepixel. The partnership is described as a "major milestone for both companies", combining Orangepixel's creative vision with HandyGames' publishing expertise.

HandyGames has announced a new addition to its indie games portfolio, partnering with veteran Dutch developer Orangepixel to publish twelve action-packed, 80s-style pixel games for PC worldwide. The global games publisher from Giebelstadt will oversee the publishing and distribution of Orangepixel's PC catalogue, bringing its blend of dungeon crawling, sci-fi action and post-apocalyptic survival to a wider audience.

Solo developer Pascal Bestebroer, Founder of Orangepixel: "HandyGames has been a fantastic partner throughout the years, and I'm excited to see this partnership evolve further onto new platforms. With their publishing expertise, I'm confident that more players than ever will get to explore the interconnected worlds of the Orangepixel Universe. This partnership also lets me focus on what I do best - developing fun and interesting indie games."

Christopher Kassulke, CEO of HandyGames: "Together, we are stronger. With Pascal's incredible portfolio and our global publishing network, we're delivering a perfect addition to our player base and partners worldwide. Our 'Hidden Gems' strategy, launched several months ago, aims to support talented indie developers and smaller publishers in reaching a larger audience. Orangepixel is a perfect fit for this initiative, and we’re excited to further expand our cooperation. Thank you, Pascal, for trusting HandyGames to help take your games even further."
