Ubisoft's new subsidiary, which brings together the three top franchises Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six under one roof, has a name: Vantage Studios. Teams from six locations worldwide will be assigned to the studio.

Vantage Studios, the new subsidiary which is build with a billion Euro investment from Tencent, will be led by Charlie Guillemot and Christophe Derennes, as Ubisoft announced several weeks ago. According to the company, Vantage Studios represents a new “creative house” that will be responsible for the IPs Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six. Additional creative houses are expected to follow.

Ubisoft also announced that Vantage Studios will have teams at Ubisoft locations in Montreal, Quebec, Sherbrooke, Saguenay, Barcelona, and Sofia. However, the locations will apparently not be assigned to Vantage across the board and in their entirety.
