Indie developer Toukana Interactive is set to bring its wholesome strategic puzzle game Dorfromantik to more consoles and mobile devices. For this purpose, cooperations with Clockstone Studio and Headup Games have been announced.

Dorfromantik will be released on PlayStation, Xbox and as a mobile game. While the console editions will remain largely faithful to the original experience, a reimagined mobile version is currently in development. This adaptation will retain the essence of Dorfromantik, while introducing a new gameplay flow and mechanics optimised for touch controls and on-the-go play. The studio confirmed the upcoming releases following the conclusion of recent partnership agreements.

Dorfromantik was developed by Berlin-based Toukana Interactive in 2021 as a PC game. With most of the development team currently working on their new title Star Birds, the studio has been looking for collaborations. Clockstone Studio from Austria will be the porting studio for the mobile edition of Dorfromantik. Headup Games will handle the publishing coordination for mobile and console, as well as in-house development for the PlayStation and Xbox versions.

Dorfromantik is a peaceful building strategy and puzzle game where players create village landscapes by placing tiles. A Nintendo Switch version was released in 2022. A board game adaptation of the relaxing building game followed the same year in collaboration with Pegasus Spiele.
