While this years’ GodotFest in Munich was the first official GodotCon Europe under this new name, it will not be the last: GodotFest Munich will return in November 2026, the organisers of GameDev Events Munich have stated.

Johannes Ebner, one of the co-organisers of GodotFest says in a statement to GamesMarkt: “GodotFest 25 - the first GodotFest ever - has been a massive success. We brought together over 350 attendees from across the globe — including Japan and Brazil — with professionals from PlayStation, AAA studios, and headline sponsor JetBrains.

With that, the conference achieved its mission of advancing the professional Godot Engine ecosystem. GodotFest will return to Munich in November 2026 - more to come soon!”

You can read our impressions and the final numbers on GodotFest 2025 in our exclusive report.

GodotCon, the format organised by Godot Foundation and rotating around different places on the globe, will also return in 2026
