From Berlin to Sheffield: With a new UK event, the A Maze. Festival expands its avantgarde, artistic gaming sphere in Europe. The "slice of Berlin media and club culture" will be held on 2 August and produced in collaboration with a range of UK collectives and companies, among them "Gang Beasts" dev Boneloaf, Reel Steel Cinema and hardware dev We Throw Switches.

The Berlin original, A Maze. Fest will expand to the United Kingdom, as a collaboration of A Maze. and various UK companies and collectives announced. The new event will be held on 2 August 2024.

"A Maze. / Sheffield will be the debut UK event from A Maze. Fest, with a slice of Berlin media and club culture coming to Sheffield.", one of the new organisers, Reel Steel Cinema from Sheffield, announced on Social Media.

The event will be held at Forge Sheffield, and be organised by the original A Maze. team as well as Reel Steel Cinema, Boneloaf, the developers of "Gang Beasts", hardware developer and curator team We Throw Switches and support network GLUM.

More information will be revealed in June, the organisers say.
