According to the company, the hiring of Daniel Marx as game and narrative designer is part of an initiative to grow specifically in the senior segment. With Marx joining the team, Tiny Roar's workforce now totals 26 employees.

"I have no idea how Robert and Maurice came to the conclusion that a creator of drama and thriller games would be a good fit for a lighthearted adventure like Lou's Lagoon, but I'm certainly glad they did! I'm a big admirer of what they've built up in recent years, and I'm sure you'll hear great things from Tiny Roar in the not-so-distant future," Daniel said.

And Robert Koch, Co-Founder, CEO and Game Director on Lou’s Lagoon adds: "Following Daniel’s journey, we have been fans of his work at Osmotic for a long time. Him not being afraid to tackle complex topics and delivering award-winning experiences, so we knew that he would elevate our studio expertise immensely."

Daniel Marx brings a wealth of experience to Tiny Roar. He comes from Osmotic Studios, which has been nominated for various national and international awards over the past 12 months and has also won several. However, the titles Closer the Distance and Orwell Games were not commercially successful enough to finance the next production, which is why Osmotic gave up at the beginning of November. Marx resigned as Game Director and CEO at the same.

The Hamburg studio has been part of the extended family of Swedish Aonic since mid-2023 (in German).
