The five-day workshop on marketing strategies in the games industry will kick off with an in-person event during Games Ground in Berlin. Play, Promote, Publish 2025 is organized and curated by Ruth Lemmen and André Bernhardt.

The target audience for Play, Promote, Publisher 2025 includes SMEs, large companies, and individuals from other fields who want to switch to marketing. The workshop will teach marketing and self-marketing strategies for successfully placing game ideas on the market.

The kick-off for the Erich Pommer Institute workshop will take place on November 12 as part of the Games Ground Festival in Berlin. This will be followed by four additional online workshop days at intervals of 3 to 4 weeks until February 27, 2026.

Ruth Lemmen and André Bernhardt are responsible for planning and implementing this year's workshop. In 2024, Nadine König, Tim Ahlert, Kai Bodensiek, Kristian Metzger, and Irene Preuss, among others, participated as lecturers.

More information and registration can be found on the Erich Pommer Institute website.
