Even five years after the program was launched, the kick-off for the new participants in the Games Lift Incubator in Hamburg is still a special moment, even though it has become routine for the organizers.

The five selected teams are now embarking on an intensive journey during which they will gain valuable experience and make equally valuable contacts. The first phase of the program, which runs until December, focuses on knowledge transfer from industry experts.

There will be workshops, mentoring sessions, and on-site meetups. The phase will culminate in early December with the so-called Graduation Pitch. This will be followed by the second phase, which will run until August 2026 and will include individual coaching and participation in a business trip.

The kick-off for the current Games Lift Incubator took place once again at Space in Hamburg. The participants presented themselves and their projects. The five titles and their creators – The Wrong Horse by Sharon Sacks & Vincent Will, Encaged and Ungraded by Leif Gutowski, Fading Skies by Distant Blue, Phasmopass by Curio Compass, and Project: Slimepot by Calluna Games – were already unveiled in July.

Now, the five mentors who will accompany this year's program have also been confirmed. They are: - Björn Bergstein, Coach & Consultant for Management and Leadership - Daniel Marx, CEO and Game Director, Osmotic Studios - Manny Hachey, Founder, Positive Impact Games, and Accelerator Program Director at Xsolla - Søren Lass, Business Development Consultant - Steffen Rühl, Expert for digital and analog games industry
