Expansion is planned in many areas in 2026, including trading card games. A separate hall area with sufficient quiet and light will also ensure the right atmosphere for the planned TCG tournaments in 2026. Another new feature in 2026 will be tabletop games, which will also be represented with their own tournament at Caggtus.

The standard booth fees also show that merchandising retailers are to be encouraged to exhibit with special discounts. Their booth rental is around 50 euros cheaper per square meter than the regular price. Sales are an important option at Caggtus anyway. Unlike at gamescom, for example, where exhibitors are only allowed to sell in the merchandise area, sales from booths are permitted everywhere at Caggtus.

Other areas in which Caggtus is set to grow are Indie Ground, which will increase by over 20%, and Creative Space. However, registration for artists is already closed.

The data and facts on Caggtus 2025 show that most visitors to the trade fair come from the region. According to the visitor survey, 63% traveled less than 100 kilometers to attend. 22% of visitors traveled between 100 and 300 kilometers. The average age of all visitors was 28.2 years, with only 1% of all visitors over the age of 50.

The development of media reach is also interesting: according to the organizers, over 800 media representatives were on site. Online press coverage reached over 181 million impressions. In addition, there was a print reach of 5.49 million, a TV reach of 1.86 million, and just under 800,000 radio listeners. The Twitch reach of accredited content creators totaled 7.4 million followers.

More data from the previous year is available in the official recap from Caggtus.
