With a six-hour charity event on gamescom's newest Social Stage, Bisalina Speedruns, Bonjwa, Huebi, several esports organisations and many more are collecting money for gamescom forest, DKMS, Save the Children and Unicef in Hall 11.3.

The new Social Stage on gamescom honours its name: With a six-hour charity event, the fair’s newest entertainment area addition fills almost its entire friday slots. From 12 o’clock onward, a cooperation of Bisalina Speedruns, Bonjwa and streamer Huebi fills the stage in Hall 11.3.

In several speedruns, people from all walks of the industry will gather money for charity at the event. Among them are Starletnova, Christian Solmecke from WBS.legal, Daniel Jung, Dävid and others. Kicker eSport, SK Gaming and the esports player foundation will play two charity e-sport games, the Rocket Beans and the Games Academy are part of the event too.

The roadshow is part of the further development of Bisalina Speedruns. All donations collected during the roadshow will be transferred to the participating charity organisations via betterplace.org. The organisations are Save the Children, gamescom forest by Treemer, UNICEF Germany and DKMS.

"This year's charity show at gamescom was created with the intention of becoming the biggest international speedrunning event, to bring the niche that is very close to my heart a little more into the mainstream. I would like to thank all 500 people involved, from influencers to media partners and all the charities who are so happy to be part of it. So what are we waiting for? Let's collect donations!" says Lucina Hum, Bisalina Speedruns.

"We have been looking forward to this exciting project for months and would like to thank Lucina for allowing us to be part of something really big. Overall, we're very proud to be working with Lucina to bring this programme to the Twitch community. After the success of the event at Xperion and caggtus 2024, gamescom is a very big but understandable step. A big thank you to everyone involved and to gamescom for making this heartfelt project possible." says Production Leader Aron Niemeier, 84komma5.
